Meet Exxpedition. Our January charity

Every month we donate a percentage of the profits from our subscription boxes to a charity that shares our environmental ethos. This January we have chosen eXXpedition: a pioneering not-for-profit organisation.

eXXpedition brings together a global, multi-disciplinary network of women, who pool their many talents and unique skills to tackle the problem of plastic pollution from all angles. Founded in 2014 by ocean advocate and skipper Emily Penn, eXXpedition’s all-female crews have travelled around the world to highlight and research the catastrophic damage caused by plastic waste.

Once back on dry land, eXXpedition then empowers their female crew members to become ocean ambassadors and inspire and affect change within their communities.

This January sees the team start the 6th leg of an incredible, two-year voyage around the world. They will travel from Panama to the Galapagos Islands, sailing 1000 nautical miles across the Pacific Ocean. We are thrilled to be able to support their inspiring, vital work.
